PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coil of a rotary electric machine, which can secure joint strength of a joint part while making the joint part smaller and downsize the rotary electric machine by lowering the height of a coil end of the rotary electric machine. ! SOLUTION: In a coil 10 of a rotary electric machine, which is wound around while being jointed in a coil end thereof, end parts 40 and 42 of the coil that are jointed facing each other have notches 24 and 26 that engage with each other so as to mutually receive spring back force 44 and 46 generated by bending forming for causing two end parts 40 and 42 to face each other. !
