An embodiment of the present invention discloses a cross-domain communication method. The method comprises: receiving a service request initiated by a first communication account to a second communication account; querying for account description information of each communication account in a communication account set the second communication account belongs to; determining, according to the account description information, a target communication account from the communication account set and a target communication type corresponding to the target communication account; and communicating with the target communication account by using the target communication type. Also disclosed are a communications apparatus and system. By using the present invention, user information sharing is implemented between different carriers or different service networks of a same carrier, thereby improving service experience of a user.
