PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus capable of taking an optimum image even when a user sets gain aperture as desired without taking incident ray volume into consideration.SOLUTION: When an exposure time T, which is an exposure time necessary for imaging, of an imaging device and a desired aperture opening are set and when the signal level is high and saturated, the required exposure time is divided into four as shown in operation E2. The divided exposure times are set at predetermined time intervals within a vertical synchronous signal VSYNC synchronizing period. Accumulated signals are added at each divided exposure time to generate a pixel signal. With this, even when the shutter operates at a high speed with fixed aperture opening, jerkiness is prevented. The technique is applicable to imaging apparatuses. |
