PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel sustained release oral dosage form of R-baclofen prodrug.SOLUTION: An oral tablet dosage form contains: approximately 3 wt.% to approximately 20 wt.% of (3R)-4-{[(1S)-2-methyl-1-(2-methylpropanoyloxy) propoxy]carbonylamino}-3-(4-chlorophenyl) butanoic acid or pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof; approximately 15 wt.% to approximately 40 wt.% of microcrystalline cellulose; approximately 15 wt.% to approximately 40 wt.% of hydroxypropyl methylcellulose; and approximately 3 wt.% to approximately 30 wt.% of release rate-control polymer, based on a total weight of a dosage form.
