The present invention relates to a steam cooker. More particularly, the steam cooker can evenly cook the whole food as food is supplied with steam both from above and from below, and can prevent degradation of taste of the food resulting from contact between the food and the condensed water as condensed water generated when moisture contained inside the steam is condensed, is easily discharged to the outside. The cooker in order to accomplish the above-mentioned purpose according to the present invention comprises: a steam supplying device which generates and supplies steam; and a cooking container which receives steam from the steam supplying device and cooks food contained therein. The cooking container comprises: a first containing unit for containing food therein, a second containing unit which is formed to communicate with the lower portion of the first containing unit and receives steam from the steam supplying device; and a cap which is provided on the top of the first containing unit and receives steam from the steam supplying device. |
