PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide multicoat paint systems that feature lower yellowing, particularly on overbaking, in conjunction with good storage stability of a high-solid base coating material and a high-solid clear lacquer.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a multilayer paint system comprising base coatings and clear lacquer coatings with high a solids content, each containing at least one sulfonic acid compound of a formula (I) or a formula (II). The invention further relates to a method for forming the multilayer paint system and use thereof, as well as to substrates that are coated with the multilayer paint system. Furthermore, the invention relates to a use of the sulfonic acid compound of the formula (I) and formula (II) in base coatings and clear lacquer coatings with a high solid content. |
