PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress breakage of a motor due to overspeed, in a hybrid vehicle using a power division mechanism.SOLUTION: In a vehicle control system 1, a microcomputer 11 of an HVECU (Hybrid Vehicle Electronic Control Unit) 2 controls a hybrid vehicle which includes a power division mechanism 30 for dividing and transmitting power of an engine 21 to a motor generator 22 and an axle, and a motor generator 23 for transmitting power to the axle, an MGECU (Motor Generator Electronic Control Unit) 4 and an inverter 5 control the motor generator 22 and the motor generator 23, an engine ECU 3 controls the engine 21, a monitoring circuit 12 and the inverter 5 forcibly stop the motor generator 23 when abnormality occurs in the microcomputer 11 of the HVECU 2, and the engine ECU 3 performs control for limiting the rotation number of the engine 21 when forcible stop of the motor generator 23 is in execution and a rotation number of the motor generator 22 is equal to or greater than a motor limiting determination rotation number. |
