<p>Provided is an anisotropic conductive adhesive which, when manufacturing a light-emitting device involving flip-chip mounting of a light-emitting element such as a light-emitting diode (LED) to a wiring board using an anisotropic conductive adhesive, improves light emission efficiency without making it necessary to provide the LED element with a light-reflecting layer that would lead to increased costs, and which moreover exhibits a die shear strength which is in practice sufficient while not being prone to discoloration due to heat or light; also provided is a light-emitting device comprising a light-emitting element which is flip-chip mounted on a wiring board using said adhesive. In this light-emitting device, the light-emitting element is connected to the wiring board with anisotropic electric conductivity. The light-reflecting anisotropic conductive adhesive used for said anisotropic electric conductivity connection contains a thermosetting resin composition, conductive particles, and light-reflecting insulating particles. The thermosetting resin composition contains the diglycidyl isocyanuryl-modified cyclic polysiloxane represented in formula (1) and an epoxy resin curing agent.</p> |
