The present invention relates to a method for editing an image and an apparatus therefor that can provide an image editing interface which can be used easily by a user, the editing apparatus according to the invention comprising: a display unit configured to display an image editing interface which includes an image to be edited and an editing tool; a position adjustment unit which checks an editing section where special effects are synthesized among the entire reproduction sections of the image, selects a particular number of scenes where special effect object is displayed in the editing section, displays the same in the display unit, and resets a position of the special effect object in a corresponding scene when special effect object in the displayed scenes is moved by a user; and a special effect processing module configured to generate editing details data which includes the position of the special effect object for each scene. |
