PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the reliability in a pressure buffer device which uses a magnetic force to adjust a damping force. ! SOLUTION: A hydraulic shock absorber 1 includes: a cylinder part which stores a liquid; a valve port 421P through which a fluid in the cylinder part flows; a valve 422 which opens and closes the valve port 421P; a solenoid unit which generates a magnetic force; and pressing parts (a transmission part 43, a moving plate 44) which press the valve 422 to the valve port 421P by using the magnetic force without applying the magnetic force generated by the solenoid unit to the valve 422. !
