PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus capable of determining an exposure condition corresponding to a function that is prioritized by a user, even if there is vignetting in a photographic optical system. ! SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus includes imaging means which includes a plurality of pixels for performing photoelectric conversion on an optical image of a subject generated by the photographic optical system including a photographic lens and generates pixel data. The imaging apparatus further includes pupil dividing means for limiting a light flux incident to each pixel only to a light flux from a specific emission pupil area of the photographic lens. The imaging apparatus also includes a first exposure mode and a second exposure mode. In the first exposure mode, the exposure condition is determined on the basis of divided pixel data which are generated by performing the photoelectric conversion on the light flux incident via the pupil dividing means by means of the plurality of pixels, |
