The present invention relates to a battery pack replacement system combined with an energy storage system for an electric vehicle, and methods for maintaining and replacing a battery pack using same, and a system combining a replacement system for replacing a battery pack and an energy storage system in an electric vehicle comprises: an identification portion for identifying the type of a battery pack in a vehicle; a replacement portion for replacing or mounting a discharged battery pack on the vehicle; a charging/discharging portion for charging/discharging the discharged battery pack and storing same; and a transport portion for transporting the discharged battery pack removed by the replacement portion to the charging/discharging portion, or transporting a buffered battery pack from the charging/discharging portion to the replacement portion, thereby having the advantages of changing the existing mechanism of direct battery charging by a driver to battery replacement, reducing safety accidents caused during direct charging, significantly reducing time during battery replacement compared to direct charging thus saving time, and functioning as an energy storage system by securing stable reserve power and transmitting electricity when required. |
