The invention relates to a steering column assembly (1), having a steering column (3) and a casing tube (5) engaging around the steering column (3), wherein the steering column (3) is mounted such that the steering column (3) can be rotated relative to the casing tube (5) about a longitudinal axis (L), and having a switch module (7) which has a housing (9) and a fixing sleeve (11) provided on the housing (9), wherein the fixing sleeve (11) is formed in such a way that the switch module (7) with the fixing sleeve (11) can be slipped onto the casing tube (5) and can be clamped firmly on the latter by means of radial compression of the fixing sleeve (11). Provision is made for the casing tube (5) to have at least one radial protrusion (15, 17; 23, 23'; 55) on an outer circumferential surface (13), and for the fixing sleeve (11) to have at least one guide groove (21; 57) extending on an inner circumferential surface (19), seen in the longitudinal direction, wherein the radial protrusion (15, 17; 23, 23'; 55) engages in the guide groove (21; 57) when the switch module (7) is slipped onto the casing tube (5), the engagement being play-free at the latest when the fixing sleeve (11) is clamped. |
