Provided is a glass fibre produced by a method for preventing crystallization in a cooling part. The raw materials therefor comprise, in weight percentage, 0.01 - 8% of sodium oxide, 10 - 35% of aluminium oxide, silicon oxide with the content thereof being 1.8 - 5.58 times that of calcium oxide, and calcium oxide with the content thereof being 0.8 - 2.1 times that of magnesium oxide. In the process of producing the glass fibre, 2 to 40 temperature-measuring devices and 2 to 60 heating devices are provided in the space above the level of glass liquid in the cooling part, at a distance having a range of 10 - 80 mm from the inner side of a refractory brick wall of the pool, where the distance between the heating devices is 0.3 - 2 m. In the process of preparing the glass fibre, the heating devices start to heat when the temperature at the cooling part, measured by the temperature-measuring devices, is 50°C lower than the crystallization temperature of the glass liquid, and the heating devices stop heating when the temperature at the cooling part, measured by the temperature-measuring devices, is 100°C higher than the crystallization temperature of the glass liquid. The molten glass liquid is directed from the cooling part to multiple holes in a high-temperature-resisting porous metal plate and stretched at a high speed to form glass fibres, which are cooled to obtain an article of glass fibres. |
