PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a notebook cover with a pen insertion slit, which enables a writing instrument to be housed inside the notebook cover by using the pen insertion slit. ! SOLUTION: In a notebook cover body part, a space large enough to allow attachment of a writing instrument is secured in the center. A storage part for inserting a cover sheet and a backbone of a notebook is created inside the cover body. The notebook is used in such a manner that either the cover sheet or the backbone is put into the storage part and that the other one of them is not put thereinto.
