PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively utilize a portion of both sides of a face which passes an optical axis of a reflector even if using a light emitting element having directivity such as a light emitting diode, and to enhance the design performance of a vehicle lighting appliance.SOLUTION: A vehicle lighting appliance 1 comprises: a reflector 60 having a recessed reflection face 61 with a rotation parabolic surface having an optical axis Ax as a rotation symmetric axis as a base tone at its front face; a reflection plate 40 which is arranged along the optical axis Ax in front of the reflection face 61, partitions a space in front of the reflection face 61 into up-and-down regions, and has a rear edge 41 arranged at a focus point F of the reflection face 60 or in the vicinity of the focus point; a light emitting element 20 which is arranged at a front side rather than the focus point F being the region at an upper side rather than the reflection plate 40, and arranged while being directed toward the focus point F; and a condenser lens 30 which is arranged between the light emitting element 20 and the focus point F, and condenses light emitted by the light emitting element 20 to the focus point F or its vicinity. |
