PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for improving light characteristics of a back light such that light sources are linearly arranged and light of the light sources is reflected by a reflection sheet in a curved shape for a liquid crystal display device that has the back light.SOLUTION: A liquid crystal television 1 has a liquid crystal panel 12, a reflection sheet 30 placed on the back side of the liquid crystal panel 12 and shaped such that a surface opposed to the liquid crystal panel 12 is curved to be concave, and an LED light source module 40 (LED substrate 42) where a plurality of LED chips are arranged in a horizontal direction. The curved shape of the reflection sheet 30 is arcuate continuously in a vertical direction. Further, the LED chips are arranged at the deepest part of the arcuate shape.
