PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mechanism for making it possible to acquire, by using position information on an imaging device, an image in a direction desired by a user from another imaging device. ! SOLUTION: An imaging device capable of communicating with other imaging devices through a network identifies an imaging direction of the imaging device; identifies a position of the imaging device; acquires pictures imaged by the other imaging devices, by submitting a request to the other imaging devices in order to acquire the pictures imaged by the other imaging devices; and performs control in order to determine from which of the other imaging devices a picture is to be acquired, by using the identified imaging direction and the identified position information. !
