PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmission device which includes a transmission mechanism of dog clutch type, for effectively reducing a transmission time which a driver feels.SOLUTION: A transmission device includes a dog clutch type transmission mechanism 51, a clutch actuator 72 for driving a clutch 30, a shift actuator 82 for shifting a shift gear 60 of the transmission mechanism 51, and a delay time setting part 96 which sets a delay time that is a time from the start of cutting of the clutch 30 to the start of shifting of the shift gear 60. The delay time setting part 96 sets a delay time as a first delay time if an engagement force between dog parts, of which engagement is released, is a first engagement force, and sets the delay time as a second delay time that is shorter than the first delay time if the engagement force is a second engagement force that is smaller than the first engagement force. |
