PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a porous silica ceramic body, a dental restoration, and a method for the production thereof.SOLUTION: The invention provides a preparation process of a dental restoration comprising: a step of preparing a compact which has a desired surface form; a step of grinding or polishing a porous silica ceramic body to obtain a dental restoration precursor; and a) a step of positioning the dental restoration precursor on a scaffold to perform high-density sintering on it, or b) a step of performing high-density sintering on the dental restoration precursor, or c) performing high-density sintering on the dental restoration precursor, subsequently positioning it on the scaffold and binding it. In the porous silica ceramic body, a three-point bending strength measured according to ISO 6872 which has a first density is 25-180 MPa, and it becomes a second density by sintering. A dental restoration has the second density, and the ratio of the first density to the second density is 2/5 to 98/100. |
