PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an abnormality sign diagnosis device which appropriately continues diagnosis even during maintenance of mechanical equipment.SOLUTION: An abnormality sign diagnosis device includes: time series data acquisition means for acquiring time series data from mechanical equipment; a data mining learning part 161 for learning a normal model by generating feature vectors; and a data mining diagnosis part 162 for diagnosing the presence/absence of the abnormality sign of the mechanical equipment on the basis of the normal model. When a maintenance period is included in a period being a learning object of the normal model, the data mining learning part 161 learns the normal model on the basis of the time series data related to a device which continuously operates even during the maintenance period, and the data mining diagnosis part 162 continuously performs diagnosis even during the maintenance period.
