Provided is a surface protection film able to exhibit, at a high level, conflicting characteristics, namely the prevention of oligomer precipitation following heat treatment and adherence with respect to a functional layer such as a hard coat layer. The surface protection film is obtained by forming a coating layer on both surfaces of a multilayer polyester film, which has a laminated structure having at least three layers and in which the softening point of the outermost surface polyester layers is higher than the softening point of an intermediate layer, and forming a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer on the surface of one of the coating layers. The coating layers are formed from a coating liquid that contains a crosslinking agent at a quantity of 70wt% or higher relative to involatile components. |
