PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catheter for intravascular foreign matter removal capable of breaking foreign matter such as a blood clot in a living body into blobs to effectively suck and remove the blobs.SOLUTION: A capture part 12 provided at a distal end of a second tube 23 can be deformed into a contraction state and an expansion state in which the capture part expands to form a capture chamber 12A. The capture chamber 12A has an aperture area which reduces from a distal aperture 33 of the capture chamber 12A to a proximal aperture 34 of the capture chamber 12A. A third tube 41 capable of rotating relatively to the second tube 23, and a cutting part 13 which is provided at a distal end of the third tube 41 and cuts a foreign matter 2, are arranged in a second lumen 24. The cutting part 13 in the expansion state of the capture part 12 is arranged at a position closer to the proximal aperture 34 than the distal aperture 33. |
