PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a dispersion of a fine cellulose fiber composite high in dispersibility to a resin and improving tensile elasticity by dispersing to the resin at low cost and efficiently. ! SOLUTION: There is provided a method for manufacturing a dispersion of a fine cellulose fiber composite including following processes (I) and (II). Process (I): a process for contacting primary or secondary amine having a hydrocarbon group with a carboxyl group-containing cellulose fiber having the water content of 0.1 mass% or more and conducting an amidation reaction under pressure with a condition of 90°C or more to obtain the fine cellulose fiber composition connected to a hydrocarbon group via an amide bond.
