PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for recycling adsorbent and a method for transferring adsorbent, which suppresses the adsorbent from partially breaking when transferring the adsorbent having ammonia adsorbed and which reduces desorption of ammonia adsorbed onto the adsorbent. ! SOLUTION: The method for recycling adsorbent comprises the steps of: (A) immersing adsorbent (1) having ammonia adsorbed in concentrated ammonia (4); (B) transferring the adsorbent immersed in the concentrated ammonia (4); (C) desorbing the ammonia adsorbed onto the adsorbent (1) taken out of the concentrated ammonia (4) and collecting the desorbed ammonia; and (D) recycling the adsorbent from which ammonia has been desorbed for adsorption of ammonia.
