PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foaming sedation method capable of surely preventing slopping even when a converter type refining vessel which has small capacity as a refining vessel is used. ! SOLUTION: Provided is the foaming sedation method for sedating foaming which is generated by expanding volume of slag, and gas bubble generated in an oxidation refining step of molten pig iron and remaining in the slag, in which a surface of the slag is locally dissolved and a gas bubble release hole is formed on a surface layer part of the slag, for discharging the gas babble remaining in the slag. !
