<p>A method and device for installing an application program onto a smart television by means of a mobile communication terminal, said mobile communication terminal having a pre-established communication connection to a smart television and to an application server. The method comprises: providing a user-operation input field on the user interface of the mobile communication terminal; receiving, via said input field, a user-inputted command to search for a target application program; on the basis of said command, obtaining from the application server information related to said target application program; determining whether the smart television can establish a communication connection to the application server; if a connection can be established, then sending the information related to said target application program to the smart television, and sending a download-and-install command to said smart television; if a connection cannot be established, then obtaining from the application server an installation data packet for the target application program, and sending same to the smart television. The invention allows a target application to be installed onto a smart television by means of a mobile terminal in a convenient and easy manner.</p> |
