<p>The present invention addresses the problem of improving running stability and dimensional stability of papermaking fabric. This papermaking fabric (1) has: woof threads (3) comprising papermaking surface-side woof threads (3A, 3C) and running surface-side woof threads, which number 1/3 - 2/3 of the number of papermaking surface-side woof threads, as a set; and warp threads (2). The warp threads form subunits (41) of four threads to a set. A first warp thread (11) and a third warp thread (13) pass under a first running surface-side woof thread (31B). The first warp thread passes above a first papermaking surface-side woof thread (33A). The third warp thread passes above a second papermaking surface-side woof thread (33C). A second warp thread (12) and a fourth warp thread (14) pass below a second running surface-side woof thread (33B). The second warp thread passes above a third papermaking surface-side woof thread (31A). The third warp thread passes above a fourth papermaking surface-side woof thread (31C). The various subunits are deviated (shifted) in the direction in which the woof threads extend.</p> |
