<p>The present invention relates to a filter element (10) including: a filter body (12) having a vertical axis (L); a base part (16) arranged on a first end side (15) of the filter body (12); a cover (18) arranged on a second end side (17) of the filter body (12); and a casing (14) which covers most of the filter body (12) on an outer circumference (22) thereof, and has strength higher than that of the filter body (12). The casing (14) includes at least one casing component (20) which is not directly joined with edges (26, 27), and is arranged on the outer circumference (22) to prevent one edge (26) from being connected with the other edge (27) when the edges (26, 27) are adjacent to the casing (14). The present invention also relates to a method for manufacturing the filter element (10).</p> |
