PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bed for gravel cultivation having structure in which a crop plant can absorb nutrients sufficiently, in gravel cultivation using blend of gravels as a cultivation bed.SOLUTION: A bed 1 for gravel cultivation comprises a bottom face part 2, a water catchment part 4 formed on the bottom base part, and wall surface parts 3 provided to stand from edge parts of the bottom surface part and facing each other, wherein on the bottom face part, there are formed: inclined plane 21 descendingly inclined for water to flow into the water catchment; and two weir parts 22 provided on different levels and crossing the inclined plane to obstruct the water flow on the inclined plane. The bottom face part is formed into a rectangular shape and the water catchment part is formed into a groove part 4 which extends along the longitudinal direction. Further, one or both end parts in the longitudinal direction of the bottom face part are released such that the one or both end parts can be connected with another end part of the other bed for gravel cultivation. |
