PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve connection strength and watertightness between a transom and an upper frame of a lower window, without exposing the transom to the outdoor side, in a sash for a step window.SOLUTION: The sash comprises the upper-lower windows, the transom for connecting a lower frame of an upper window and an upper frame of a lower window and a tight material for water-tightening between the transom and the upper frame of the lower window, and the upper frame of the lower window comprises an outdoor side aspect wall and an indoor side aspect wall, and the outdoor side aspect wall of the upper frame of the lower window comprises a bending part of bending to the indoor side on the upper end and a floating preventive part extended to the indoor side under the bending part, and the transom comprises a locking part in an outdoor side end part, and the locking part is locked between the bending part of the outdoor side aspect wall of the upper frame of the lower window and the floating preventive part, and an indoor side end part is screw-fastened from the indoor side to the indoor side aspect wall of the lower window, and the tight material is arranged between the bending part of the upper frame of the lower window and an outdoor side surface of the transom. |
