PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clamp coupling that is resistant to solvents, acids, bases and heat and capable of use in applications requiring purity of material, and that is for a single use only and disposable to eliminate potential secondary contamination while providing superior sealing and/or connection for flexible tubing.SOLUTION: A sanitary clamp for connection to barb connectors each having one end terminating at a funnel shaped portion is described herein. The sanitary clamp includes a first member having a first semi-circular center portion disposed between a first end and a second end. A second member has a second semi-circular center portion disposed between a first end and a second end. The first ends of the first and second members are configured to pivotally connect to each other, and the second ends of the first and second members selectively lock the second ends of the first and second members in engagement. |
