<p> A digital broadcast receiver, wherein a receiving unit (10) receives a broadcast wave (41) including broadcast content and an AIT, and presents first broadcast content as broadcast content to an output unit (20) for the receiver. A control unit (32) for the receiver acquires a broadcast-managed application (43) dependent on the first broadcast content by a communications network on the basis of the AIT, and presents the broadcast-managed application (43) together with the first broadcast content to the output unit (20) for the receiver. If access to a broadcast resource is permitted in the AIT when the broadcast content is switched from the first broadcast content to second broadcast content, the control unit (32) for the receiver stops presenting the broadcast-managed application (43). This makes it possible to mitigate the problem that the digital broadcast receiver displays content contrary to the intent of a broadcast station when the broadcast content is switched from the first broadcast content to the second broadcast content.</p> |
