<p>The purpose of the present invention is to provide an addition curing type silicone resin composition which is excellent in terms of interfacial adhesion, storage stability, and transparency. Another purpose is to provide a cured addition-curing-type silicone resin and a sealed photosemiconductor element which are obtained from or using the addition curing type silicone resin composition. This addition curing type silicone resin composition comprises an addition curing type silicone resin mixture and an adhesion promoter, the addition curing type silicone resin mixture having a refractive index of 1.45-1.60 and the adhesion promoter comprising a compound which has a structural unit represented by the following formula (1-3) and/or a structural unit represented by the following formula (1-4) between a structural unit represented by the following formula (1-1) and a structural unit represented by the following formula (1-2) and which has a refractive index of 1.45-1.60. In formulae (1-1) and (1-2), the R1a moieties each independently represent a C1-18 alkyl group, a cycloalkyl group, an aryl group, or an aralkyl group. In formulae (1-3) and (1-4), the R1b moieties each independently represent a C1-18 alkyl group, a cycloalkyl group, an aryl group, or an aralkyl group. In formula (1-3), m is an integer of 1-50. In formula (1-4), n is an integer of 1-1,500. In formulae (1-1) to (1-3), the A moieties are each independently a C1-18 alkyl group, a cycloalkyl group, an aryl group, an aralkyl group, or a group represented by the following formula (2), at least one of the A moieties in formulae (1-1) to (1-3) being a group represented by formula (2). In formula (2), R2a represents a C1-8 alkylene group in which some of the carbon atoms excluding the carbon atom bonded to the silicon atom may have been replaced with an oxygen atom; the R2b moieties each independently represent a C1-3 alkylene group; the R3 moieties each independently represent a C1-3 alkylene group; and the R4 moieties each independently represent a hydrogen atom, a C1-3 alkyl group, an OH-containing C1-3 alkyl group, or a halogeno group.
