摘要 <p>The present invention relates to an oxynitride phosphor having improved reliability, a method for manufacturing the same, and a white emitting device including the same and, more particularly, to a cyan oxynitride phosphor which is represented by the following Chemical Formula 1 and of which the surface is coated with a coating material of an inorganic or organic material. The oxynitride phosphor of the present invention is not only close to a reference beam but also exhibits improved deterioration characteristics such as refractive index, thermal conductivity, moisture-proof properties, and high luminous efficiency which are suitable for commercialization when realizing a white light source by using UV and blue LED as an excitation source. Chemical Formula 1 is [M_(1-x),Eu_x]_aSi_bC_cO_dN_e, wherein M is at least one metal selected from the group consisting of Ba, Sr, Ca, B, Y, Lu, La, Al, Mg, Sc, or Ga, and x<=1, 1.0<=a<1.2, 2.0.<b<=2.2, 0<c<=0.5, 2.0<d<=2.2, and 2.0<e<=2.2.</p>
