PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a washing and drying method by which an object to be washed can be washed with water in a short time and dried in a short time, and to provide a washing and drying apparatus that makes it possible to achieve the method.SOLUTION: An object 2 to be washed, with organic matter adhering to the surface thereof, and water 4 are put in a case 3 and thereby the object 2 to be washed is immersed in water 4 while kept in the case 3 (an immersing step). Thereafter, the water 4 is turned into subcritical water 4' by being heated while sealed in the case 3, and thereby the organic matter adhering to the surface of the object 2 to be washed is solved in the subcritical water 4'. Thus, the object 2 is washed (a heat washing step). Thereafter, a drainage port 31 formed in the bottom 38 of the case 3 is opened, and the subcritical water 4' is discharged downwards in the direction of gravity from the drainage port 31 while being bumped (a discharging step). Then, the subcritical water 4' sticking to the surface of the washed object 2 is evaporated to dry the surface (a drying step). |
