PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waste heat recovery device which can prevent or suppress the lowering of an output of an expander resulting from the arrangement of an outlet part of the expander and an inlet part of a capacitor.SOLUTION: A waste heat recovery device 1A comprises: an internal combustion engine 2 which evaporates a working fluid by heat from a heat source, and generates steam; a turbine 5 which recovers the thermal energy of the generated steam as energy power; a capacitor 6 in which an inlet part 6a is arranged at an upper part rather than an outlet part 5b of the turbine 5, and condenses the steam which passes through the turbine 5; a tank 7 for storing the working fluid which is liquefied by the capacitor 6; a passage part 23 which makes the working fluid in a liquid-phase state in the tank 7 flow back to the internal combustion engine 2; a passage part 21 which connects the outlet part 5b of the turbine 5 and the inlet part 6b of the capacitor 6 to each other; and a passage part 22 which connects the passage part 21 and the tank 7 to each other. |
