PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rack shaft support device which inhibits deterioration of steering feeling when steering is started, and to provide a steering device including the rack shaft support device. ! SOLUTION: A rack shaft support device 30 includes: a support yoke 40; a low friction sheet 50 pressed against a rack shaft 16; a plug 32 fixed to a rack housing 20; and a coil spring 31 which presses the support yoke 40 toward the rack shaft 16. A yoke projection surface 45 is formed on an outer peripheral surface of the support yoke 40. A surface of the low friction sheet 50, which is pressed to the rack shaft 16, has a sheet projection surface 51. A sheet top part 51A of the sheet projection surface 51 and a yoke top part 45A of the yoke projection surface 45 are formed into circular shapes in a cross section view viewed in a longitudinal direction of the rack shaft 16. !
