PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to suppress performance degradation that it is difficult to cause separation in a flow on a vane surface to reduce an operating range. ! SOLUTION: A centrifugal compressor includes: an impeller (11); and an annular diffuser (15) provided radially outward of the impeller (11). The diffuser (15) includes a shroud-side wall (3b); a hub-side wall (5a) facing the shroud-side wall (3b) at a gap kept therebetween; a plurality of diffuser vanes (19) provided circumferentially separated in the gap; and a strut (19b) coupling at least either the shroud-side wall (3b) or the hub-side wall (5a) to the diffuser vanes (19) and supporting the shroud-side wall (3b) or the hub-side wall (5a) and the diffuser vanes (19). Each diffuser vane (19) is provided to form a first clearance (Cs) between the diffuser vane (19) and the shroud-side wall (3b) and to form a second clearance (Ch) between the diffuser vane (19) and the hub-side wall (5a). !
