A heat transport device (100) which joins a heat generating member (1) and a heat dissipating member (2) and transfers heat from the heat generating member (1) to the heat dissipating member (2). The heat transport device (100) comprises composite members (6) and a thermally conductive body (7). The composite members (6) are configured by forming a composite of a plurality of carbon fibres (10) and a plurality of carbon nanotubes (9) that are mixed into a substrate (8) and by cross-linking carbon fibres (10) to carbon fibres (10) by using the carbon nanotubes (9). One end of the thermally conductive body (7), said end being flexible, is embedded in a composite member (6). The embedded end and the carbon fibres (10) in the composite member (6) are cross-linked via the carbon nanotubes (9). Thus, the heat generating member to be cooled and the heat dissipating member can have excellent heat transmission characteristics, and the heat generating member and the heat dissipating member can easily be connected by the flexible thermally conductive body. |
