The present invention provides a method and an apparatus for implementing a subscription notification. The method comprises: receiving a subscription resource creating request of a subscriber; creating a subscription resource according to the subscription resource creating request; determining that the subscriber needs to acquire a latest state of a subscribed resource, and allocating a latest state identifier to the created subscription resource; when a state of the subscribed resource is updated, generating a notification message according to the subscription resource and sending the notification message to an intermediate node, the notification message comprising an updated state of the subscribed resource and the latest state identifier, so that after receiving the notification message, the intermediate node only sends, according to the latest state identifier and when a message sending condition is satisfied, a latest notification message that is generated according to the subscription resource to the subscriber. With the present invention, a waste of network resources and computing resources caused by that multiple notifications sent according to a same subscription resource are sent to the subscriber in one connection. |
