The invention relates to a device (10) for changing operating settings of a technical installation (100), wherein the technical installation (100) has a control apparatus (20), which is designed to control a plurality of functional units of the technical installation (100) on the basis of at least a plurality of input parameters (21) by means of the operating settings. The device (10) has an input (1) for receiving at least one input parameter of the plurality of input parameters (21), a simulation unit (2) for simulating at least one functional unit of the plurality of functional units on the basis of the at least one received input parameter, a changing unit (3) for changing the operating settings and for providing changed operating settings to the simulation unit (2), an evaluating unit (4) for evaluating output parameters of the at least one functional unit simulated by the simulation unit (2), which output parameters are based on the changed operating settings, and an output (5) for providing the changed operating settings to the control apparatus (20) on the basis of the evaluation. By means of said device, changes to operating settings during operation of a technical installation can be simulated and evaluated. On the basis of said evaluation, the simulated changed operating settings then can be transferred to the technical installation. The invention further relates to a technical installation having such a device, to a corresponding method, and to a computer program product. |
