<p>The present disclosure is directed to a method and apparatus for providing a distributed Internet architecture via an Internet Exchange Grid (TEG) or a distributed Internet Exchange Point (IΧΡ) which includes at least one local gatekeeper (LGK), at least one global gatekeeper (GGK) and a set of routers and switches connecting the at least one LGK and at least one GGK. The method includes authenticating a new user attempting to access the TEG, allocating an identifier to the user and providing access to other authenticated user identifiers to the new user.</p> |
