PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the construction of an image forming system by sharing information regarding a paper feed tray connected to each image forming device, in the image forming system having a plurality of image forming devices.SOLUTION: In an image forming system 100 in which a print job is divided by a job division unit 250b of an upstream machine 20, and the divided jobs are executed by a job execution unit 250a of the upstream machine 20 and a job execution unit 350a of a downstream machine 30 respectively, the upstream machine 20 and the downstream machine 30 mutually transmit information regarding a paper feed tray of the own device, and store the information regarding the paper feed trays of both devices. Each of the upstream machine 20 and the downstream machine 30 performs check processing for execution propriety of te divided job in the own device, and when the divided job is determined to be executable, it executes the divided job in the own device by utilizing sheets accommodated in the paper feed tray corresponding to the divided job. |
