SOLUTION: A suspended matter capture device 100 is provided in a river to capture suspended matter flowing in a river with water. The suspended matter capture device 100 includes a pair of wall parts 210, 220 provided so as to be separated with each other, a first slit S1 that is formed of the pair of wall parts and disposed on the upstream side of the river, and a second slit S2 that is formed of the pair of wall parts and disposed on the downstream side of the river from the first slit.
