PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To overcome a conventional problem that it is often difficult to track a maximum power point depending on ways of initial value setting if a plurality of maximal values appear on output power by generation of a shadow in part of a solar battery panel while it is necessary to set an arbitrary initial value in hill climbing used in a conventional power conditioner. ! SOLUTION: A power conditioner of the present invention includes: a converter circuit to which DC power is input from a DC power supply device; an inverter circuit to which output power from the converter circuit is input; a control circuit connected to the converter circuit and the inverter circuit; and a voltage detection circuit detecting an output voltage from the converter circuit. The control circuit changes a modulation factor of the inverter circuit while controlling the output voltage from the converter circuit to be equal to or higher than a predetermined voltage value, and the voltage detection circuit detects th
