[Problem] To provide a lid device having increased compactness and improved assembly work properties. [Solution] In the lid device (20), a lid (10) that opens/closes by means of a hinge (12) is releasably locked to a closed position. The lid device is provided with: a push lifter (38) that opens/closes the lid each time the lid is pressed in; a motor (54) that is disposed in the vicinity of the push lifter; a lock member (18); and a transmission mechanism (60, 64) that transmits the drive force of a drive device to the lock member. The push lifter and drive device are disposed in a manner such that the lengthwise direction of the push lifter and the lengthwise direction of the drive device are perpendicular, the drive device is disposed in a manner such that at least a portion thereof overlaps the push lifter when seen in the lengthwise direction, and as a result the lid device has increased compactness and has improved assembly work properties. |
