The present invention relates to a method of transmitting and receiving a signal and to an apparatus of transmitting and receiving a signal. The method for transmitting a signal of the present invention comprises the steps of: transferring data of broadcasting stream through at least one physical path, and time-interleaving encoded data of the broadcasting stream as a step of low density parity check (LDPC)-encoding data of broadcasting stream; generating signaling information; arranging the generated signaling information in a signaling information area of the signal frame as a step of generating a signal frame; arranging the time-interleaved data of broadcasting stream in a specific area located next to the signaling information area, and modulating the signal frame based on an orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) method; and transmitting the modulated signal frame to at least one radio frequency (RF) channel.
