<p>This method for constructing a cylindrical tank has: a step of mounting hanging-side jack stands (16) on a region above a knuckle plate (11) located on a side wall of an outer chamber initially fabricated; a step of mounting hanged-side jack stands (21) on the knuckle plate; and a step of sequentially mounting inner chamber side plates (9) below the knuckle plate from the highest position to the lower position while gradually raising tank components by jack-up devices (19) provided between the respective jack stands (16, 21). According to this method for constructing a cylindrical tank, the design of the inner chamber side plates is optimized, the operability of jack-up of the tank components is improved, and a construction time can be shortened without interference between the assembling work of the inner and outer chambers and the cold reserving work of a bottom of the outer chamber.</p> |
