<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display a translation result in an interesting, intuitive, and easy-to-understand manner. <P>SOLUTION: A translation device comprises: holding means (9) for holding icons of a plurality of persons (A, B); voice detection means (3, 4) for detecting voice of a person; voice specifying means (11) for specifying whose voice it is; language specifying means (14) for specifying a language of the voice; character string conversion means (13) for converting the voice to the character string; translation means (15) for translating the voice or the character string with the language specified by the language specifying means; and display means (2) for reading the icons corresponding to the plurality of persons from the holding means, displaying them, and displaying a translation result in association with the icons. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
